Agnes Lucille Craft Greene
Agnes Lucille Craft Greene was born on November 20, 1947, in Dallas, TX. She married Charles Edward (Joe) Greene on January 28, 1968, and was a devoted mother to three children: Major, Delon, and Joquel. Agnes graduated from the University of North Texas in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to serving others. She was a member of the University of North Texas Alumni Association Board of Directors and served as an honorary co-chair for the Denton County Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk in 2010.
In 2015, Philia Works of Houston, Incorporated honored Agnes for her inspirational role for women. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, she courageously fought the disease three times. Beloved by many, Agnes's legacy continues through the Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Memorial Scholarship at UNT, established by her family to honor her dedication to the university and her commitment to helping those in need.
